As promised, I’m beginning the Flute 365 project today – 365 daily photos showing my flute making journey. Today’s photo shows a detail of the ramp, flue and True Sound Hole of a new flute under production – it’s made of Western Red Cedar, or in Lakota, Hante. It’s a sacred wood to the Oglala Sioux Tribe, much revered. Modern Society use it for fencing and decking :-/
